Service Agreement
Clear expectations before work begins.
This agreement describes the public support services and pricing currently offered by Desk & Den LLC.
Service and rates
Remote home support is $65 for the first hour and $30 per additional 30 minutes. On-site home support is $95 for the first hour and $40 per additional 30 minutes. Remote business support is $95 for the first hour and $45 per additional 30 minutes. On-site business support is $125 for the first hour and $55 per additional 30 minutes.
Diagnosis is part of paid service time. If the issue is resolved while it is being identified, that is a completed service. Approved after-hours work is billed at 1.5 times the applicable standard rate, and pricing is confirmed before the appointment.
Location and pickup
Desk & Den has no public customer drop-off location. Scheduled pickup may be available only by prior arrangement and is always quote-only. Pickup, return, timing, documentation, and charges must be confirmed before a device is accepted.
Customer-purchased parts
Customers directly select and purchase every part or piece of equipment. Desk & Den doesn’t purchase, order, finance, resell, or take financial responsibility for those purchases. The customer retains the retailer relationship, receipt, shipping responsibility, return and refund rights, and warranty rights. Desk & Den may help identify compatible parts and provide approved labor after delivery.
Approval and access
Work begins with customer permission. The customer authorizes access to systems, devices, networks, software, and accounts only as needed for approved service. Material changes to time, price, parts, or outside help are discussed and approved before proceeding.
Backups and data
The customer is responsible for maintaining a current backup of important data before service when practical. Work involving failed hardware, malware, storage, operating systems, or account access may carry a risk of data loss or changed settings.
Third-party limits and outcomes
Service may depend on internet providers, software companies, manufacturers, account owners, retailers, or other third parties. Desk & Den can’t control their systems, policies, availability, or decisions and doesn’t guarantee every problem can be fixed.
Reasonable limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Desk & Den is responsible only for direct damages caused by its proven failure to use reasonable care, and not for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, third-party failures, pre-existing conditions, unavailable parts, or data loss that could have been prevented by a current backup.
Documentation and invoicing
Work is documented and invoiced electronically. Payment terms and the approved service scope appear on the invoice or related written communication.
